OK, so I'm going to try to answer a few questions posted in comments lately. Let me know if I forget someone or if you want more info or if you have any other questions. :)

"Can you shere some tips or something about encoding on 1680x1050 ? =) I get
really big file size if i want good quality."
You're encoding a movie that large? Well, that's probably your problem. If your output resolution is 1680x1050, your filesize is going to be huge if you want good quality. I suggest you change your output resolution to something smaller with the same aspect ratio. 1680x1050 is an 8:5 aspect ratio. Movies with resolutions that big can't be viewed correctly by everyone, so try a resolution that is less than 1024x768, which is a resolution almost everyone has. Try something like 960x600, which has an 8:5 aspect ratio but shouldn't give you such a big size.
Remember, though, if your recorded footage is 1680x1050 then you might have some quality loss by shrinking it down. Just play around with it and remember to stick to the same aspect ratio.
And I don't have an eta on the video. I don't want to set a deadline. I suck at deadlines.

Phael asked: "now ill bet youve answered this question before (but im lazy) but whats your comps specs atm?"
Comp specs are...
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT, 256.0 MB
HDD: 250gb
This comp isn't the best and it is often difficult working with AE on it, but it's good enough to fraps without any issues. I don't know what your computer's problem is but it looks to me like you should be able to do just fine. Do a few forum searches, I guess.

Ok, so that's that. Uhm.. Oh, has anyone else had problems using wow model viewer? It isn't working for me anymore, may have had something to do with the new patch.

About wowmodelviewer, it doesn't work as of 3.0. It's working on being updated, but their current workaround is to make a second WoW installation and only update it to 2.4.3.
So as my question, whats your favourite color?
Thanks. And I don't have a favorite color! :5
Do you think this movie will be as good/better/worse than your others? just your personal opinion.
There is a working version of wowmodelviewer around. Sort of. It's a little buggy, undeads have no eyes (the yellow glow) for example.
My questions would be, what AFX version do you work with and if you slide the slider in the timeline will the preview render live or will the image change when you stop sliding and let the mouse go? I have this problem and it sucks :(
WMV is very messed up. As zaussome said that's the wmv forum moderator's short time solution, hopefully this will get fixed.
Q: What was the last pvp movie u watched? And which ones inspire/motivate you to play?
I ask simply from the fact I'm going through a bit of a motivation slump and considering giving up wow (which would probably be the smartest thing ever XP)

It's pretty hard to tell how you guys will receive this movie. While I feel that the editing will be much better than the previous ones, editing has never really been the driving force behind a good reception. It's all about the content. There are a few fights in the movie I wish I didn't have to have in there, but there are also a few fights in there I can watch over and over again. :D I'm hoping that this is my best movie yet.. to kind of make up for dragging out the production for so long and making people wait. But only time will tell...!

I work in AE CS3. The reason your slider is doing that is because your computer can't render the frames fast enough as you scrub through them. But don't worry, my computer isn't good enough for that, either. My advice to you is that while you are scrubbing through the footage you solo the layer that footage is in so your computer doesn't have to render so much. It also helps if you work in half or quarter resolution. You can also create a proxy for your footage, but that's a rather advanced technique. I can explain it if you'd like, tho.

The last pvp movie I watched was, uhm.. My own, actually. Typically, I have to rewatch all my previous movies when I'm working on a new one so I don't fuck up the general theme. :P The last movie I watched that I didn't create was Serennia's new one, actually.
If I need inspiration, I always go back to Beckon and Vurtne. :)

two classy shadowpriest videomakers.
also schweex is ok.
The thing is I'm working in 7.0 and I know that I could do it before I reinstalled my windows and all, that's why I was wondering whats going on.
Sucks pretty hard when you have to push the PageUp PageDown buttons all the time or render a ram preview just to see whats going on.

I'm aware that you're now using the 1680x1050 resolution, do you still record at full-size in Fraps, or do you now use half-size?
1680x1050 looks REALLY good, but when recording at that resolution it makes it near impossible to play.
Less than 1024x768! fuck that, you gotta have atleast 1024x768... but the bigger the better, fuck everyone with slow internet and small HDs ;)If I record at 1680x1050 the lowest I would encode in would be 1400x900, But I'm a sucker for quality no matter what price :)
